Cameron. It's fun to see your use of notebooks through the years. I have a couple of different notebooks that I use. My out and about notebook is a small paper notebook that fits inside of a wallet that I carry, sort of like a reporter's notebook would fit into a leather wallet. Wallet. I use this to record ideas that come up while I'm out and about, I use it every Sunday to record prayer requests that people in our church share, I use it to write shopping, lists, poems that come to mind, and kind of a little bit of everything. I've been using mole skin journals for my daily journaling about life. I received my first in 2004 and so now have 20 such journals. Thanks. I feel one up a year, and even if it's not full, I move on to a new journal. Journal. I started with the pocket size moleskine journals but about 4 or 5 years ago I moved up to the next size. Every 2 years or so I'll pull all of them out and page through them. I find this very helpful to discover the things I've grown in and the things I'm still struggling with. And of course all of life and raising family and the adventures that God has taken us on are in there. I have a commonplace journal where I just record quotes from the books I'm reading or quotes from podcasts I'm listening to. That's been very helpful and I just started that a few years ago. I also have a full size moleskine like journal that I use for my daily Bible reading. That is sort of my process. Thanks for sharing yours. It was insightful and fun to see how you're utilizing journals to reflect, plan and give structure to life.
