While I may have deleted Instagram recently, I still enjoy taking impromptu photos, like—you know—everyone with a smartphone. In the spirit of old-school newsletters and blogs, I’m going to start sharing a visual recap at the end of each month, featuring whatever I happen to find in my iPhone photo album.
I know I’m a day late, but below are some of my favorite snapshots from November 📸
First, Rudy turned 4 months.
I brought these sourdough rolls for Thanksgiving, which we spent with my family in Nebraska.
Blowing bubbles at Archetype Coffee in Omaha.
…But NG is still my favorite Nebraska coffee shop.
Jenny’s sister threw a 90s-themed birthday party. I guess we pretty much always dress like this 🤷♂️
I noticed this sudden bar of light on my office wall one morning…
…so I took a selfie in front of it, as one does.
My Spotify wrapped. Apparently I listened to 124,000 minutes of audio in 2023. Lol.
I’ve been enjoying exchanging physical letters with friends for the past several months. It inspired me to up my stamp game.
My last autumn walk through McKennan Park.
Also, my new favorite mug, procured at Fontenelle Supply Co. in Omaha.
The view from my office, one foggy afternoon. (Okay, this was technically the end of October but—just look at those colors.)
The final poem of Scott Cairns’s new collection Lacunae. I highly recommend it to all of you.
Until next time ✌🏻
